HOLY DIVER OVERVIEW
Holy Diver is another incarnation of the Megaways engine with a bit of a twist. This new game features a Reel Adventure where a character / knight runs along as the reels are spun. The knight encounters treasure chests as he runs along and kicks them to reveal a symbol / random wilds / wild multiplier or a gem.
Standard Symbol Bonus – In the base game, If a symbol is revealed, it can either be a J, K, Q, 10 or A and result in the corresponding symbol being turned into wilds on reels 2-5.
Fireball Bonus – In the base game, If a Random Wild is revealed, up to 4 wilds (1 per reel) will populate the game screen on reels 2-5 in random positions.
Sword Bonus – In the base game, a chest may reveal the sword bonus which will turn up to 3 reels completely wild with up to a 7x multiplier for each wild reel.
(Free Spins) Gem Bonus – This is the Free Spins Feature and will only activate once you have collected 4 gems from the chests. Each Gem that is collected is embedded onto your shield and once all 4 are collected, you will have the opportunity to collect the bonus round OR go on to level 2 where you will start from afresh in collection of your gems.
Once another 4 gems are collected, you will have the opportunity to either collect your free spins or progress to level 3 and attempt to collect another 4 gems. Level 3 is the maximum level that you can reach and has the biggest rewards.
ALL Gems on reels 2 – 5 during Free Spins are wild but dependent on your level of Free Spins, they can either be x1 (Level 1), x2 (Level 2) or x3 (Level 3) according to their respective feature levels.
The levels also determine the amount of Megaways the slot allows, with Level 1 allowing up to 117 649 ways, Level 2 396 900 ways and lastly Level 3 with 586 971 ways to win.

CLOSING THOUGHTS
Holy Diver is another Megaways slot – just with a slight twist. The base game can honestly be extremely boring and impatient players may find it a bit difficult to continue spinning the reels. From the tests we have seen on the slot, the base game is capable of delivering wins in the region of 1000x – 2000x bet (if not more). The Free spins should be capable of delivering far more than that, but alas, as we have seen with every slot Big Time Gaming releases, there is always hype but very little delivery on actual Big Wins.
The slot will reveal its true capabilities over the upcoming months, but players will need patience and a large starting bankroll in order to attempt taking this new beast on. One or two may be a bit lucky, but its ultimately another collection game which can go horribly wrong for the player.
